PU Students Protest Against Hostel Administration
Lahore, July 04: The students of the Punjab University' Hostel No 15 have demanded the administration to allow students stay at the hostel to complete internship and thesis work during the summer vacation.
The students took out a protest demonstration, chanted slogans against the hostel administration and blocked the Canal Road for some time. When contacted hostel superintendent Dr Makshoof said some students had been demanding clearance certificates while they were not ready to handover the keys. He said dues were pending including mess charges against students, adding in such case clearance certificate could not been issued. "The protest was in fact organized to divert attention from this issue", he added. He said no one was being denied to stay and complete internship or thesis during the summer holidays.
