IJT Flays Fees Hike at Punjab University
Lahore: The Punjab University (PU) chapter Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) has reacted to a 10 percent increase in registration and examination fee of off-campus students in the varsity budget 2009-10. In a press statement,
PU IJT Nazim Qaiser Sharif said ironically the PU authorities were claiming the budget as student and education-friendly He said this year the university had fixed Rs 10 million for hostel repairs and improvement. He demanding the varsity administration should first make public the audit report of previous allocations for the same purpose.
