International Award for FAST-NU Student
Islamabad: A student of the FAST- National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences has been honoured with a prestigious award of 'Larry K. Wilson Award 2009'.

According to a pressrelease issued here on Saturday, Mr. Ravender Lal, student of FAST-NU Karachi campus, is the first Pakistani student who has been honoured with this award.

Larry K. Wilson award is being given to those who have significantly contributed to IEEE student activities in the region. About nine students from top universities of the region were nominated for the award, which was bestowed on the FAST-NU student.

Ravender Lal, belongs to a minority community, was awarded for his outstanding contribution to the ongoing GINI Pakistan Project.

Itís worth mentioning here that earlier Mir Zafar Ali, a student of FAST-National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences, Karachi campus, has also won the prestigious 'OSCAR' award in lightening & visual effect. The News
