US Agency for International Development (USAID) Deputy Mission Director in Pakistan Joseph Williams on Tuesday launched a $4 million Higher Education Commission Financial Aid Development (HEC-FAD) Programme in the country. The programme is aimed at expanding and improving financial aid programme for higher education in Pakistan. The HEC-FAD would build the capacity of the HEC and 11 Pakistani universities to establish financial aid offices, develop skills and knowledge for fundraising, and establish international linkages.
